Defect Summary:	A 2" BALL WAS TO BE WELDED TO A STEEL BAR AS WELL AS THE NUT FOR THE BALL WELDED TO THE SHANK. SOME VEHICLES WERE NOT PROPERLY WELDED ALLOWING THE NUT TO COME OFF.
Consequence Summary:	THE BALL CAN SEPARATE FROM THE STEEL BAR ALLOWING LOSS OF THE TOWED TRAILER.
Corrective Summary:	THE TRAILER HITCHES WILL BE INSPECTED AND WELDED PROPERLY.
