Defect Summary:	ON CERTAIN TRUCKS DISTRIBUTED BY DODGE OR FREIGHTLINER AND EQUIPPED WITH A TIRE VALVE, TR600, ON 16" TIRES, THE VALVE CAN DEVELOP CRACKS WITHIN THE RUBBER PART OR BETWEEN THE METAL PART AND THE RUBBER PART OF THE VALVE STEM.
Consequence Summary:	SUCH CRACKING MAY LEAD TO A LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE AT THE VALVE STEM, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Corrective Summary:	DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TIRE VALVES ON ALL SPRINTER VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.
